چکیده

The resistance in seedling and adult plant of 13 varieties 37 lines oats against stem rust caused by Puccinia graminis f. sp. avenae was evaluated. TNQ TFQ races isolates AMEX18.21.1.1 AMEX18.18.1.1 for evaluation; isolate plants were used. The Diamante, Menonita, Karma Turquesa resistant to the race, but susceptible AMEX18.18.1.1, other two isolates. All seedling, these classified as susceptible, intermediate only Teporaca resistant. into 17 groups final severity sister lines. Genotypes 25, 28, 34, 39 48 rest susceptible. In field all genotype 19 group 14, reached a 20% infection. From its response seedlings advanced lines, it is inferred that conditioned genes.

Markers Linked to Wheat Stem Rust Resistance Gene Sr11 Effective to Puccinia graminis f. sp. tritici Race TKTTF.

Wheat stem rust, caused by Puccinia graminis f. sp. tritici, can cause severe yield losses on susceptible wheat varieties and cultivars. Although stem rust can be controlled by the use of genetic resistance, population dynamics of P. graminis f. sp. tritici can frequently lead to defeat of wheat stem rust resistance genes. P. graminis f. sp. tritici race TKTTF caused a severe epidemic in Ethiop...

Genetic Mapping of Stem Rust Resistance to Puccinia graminis f. sp. tritici Race TRTTF in the Canadian Wheat Cultivar Harvest.

Stem rust, caused by Puccinia graminis f. sp. tritici, is a destructive disease of wheat that can be controlled by deploying effective stem rust resistance (Sr) genes. Highly virulent races of P. graminis f. sp. tritici in Africa have been detected and characterized. These include race TRTTF and the Ug99 group of races such as TTKSK. Several Canadian and U.S. spring wheat cultivars, including t...

Genome-wide association study for crown rust (Puccinia coronata f. sp. avenae) and powdery mildew (Blumeria graminis f. sp. avenae) resistance in an oat (Avena sativa) collection of commercial varieties and landraces

Diseases caused by crown rust (Puccinia coronata f. sp. avenae) and powdery mildew (Blumeria graminis f. sp. avenae) are among the most important constraints for the oat crop. Breeding for resistance is one of the most effective, economical, and environmentally friendly means to control these diseases. The purpose of this work was to identify elite alleles for rust and powdery mildew resistance...

Crown Rust Development and Selection for Virulence in Puccinia coronata f. sp. avenae in an Oat Multiline Cultivar

Oat crown rust, caused by Puccinia coronata f. sp. avenae, is considered to be the most serious disease of oat (Avena sativa L.) in North America (27). It is distributed worldwide but is most damaging where heavy nightly dews occur in conjunction with moderate to high temperatures during the growing season. Under ideal conditions, crown rust can result in complete crop failure. In the United St...
